Overview
The Revenue Operations and Enablement team is building a new data and analytics "super pod" to transform GitHub into a data-driven organization. Our vision is to establish a single source of truth for revenue data, automate insights, and leverage advanced analytics to drive proactive growth and customer retention. We are laying the foundation now to make this a reality. As our Analytics Product & Enablement Intern, you will be the voice of the business user. You will ensure that the powerful analytics tools and dashboards our team builds are not just technically sound, but are also user-centric, valuable, and widely adopted. You will act as a product manager for our internal analytics suite, driving its evolution and empowering our teams to make smarter, data-driven decisions.
This is a remote summer internship for 12 consecutive weeks with start dates between May-June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Treat our "single pane of glass" dashboard as a product. You will gather user feedback, analyze usage metrics, and build a feature backlog and development roadmap to guide its continuous improvement.
- Design and launch a self-service analytics certification program to create "data champions" throughout the Revenue organization, reducing reliance on the central team.
- Develop a framework and reporting system to measure the tangible business impact of our analytics initiatives, moving beyond simple usage metrics to quantify ROI, time saved, and improved decision-making.
- Work across teams to foster a culture where data is a critical asset, ensuring our tools are integrated into daily workflows and strategic conversations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a MBA or Master's program, preferably in Data Analytics, Product, or related field with an expected conferral date between December 2026 and August 2027.
- Experience or strong interest in product management, user experience (UX), and change management.
- 2+ years of experience working with data analysis or business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- 2+ years of experience in product management, business operations, or consulting, involving stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A natural empath who is skilled at interviewing stakeholders and translating their needs into actionable requirements.
- A creative problem-solver who can design engaging training and enablement programs.
- Results-oriented, with a desire to not only launch tools but to see them drive measurable business outcomes.
