Pediatric Orthopedic Intern

Responsibilities

• Supports research studies dedicated to pediatric bone health
• Work in pediatric orthopedic office to develop and produce clinically relevant research projects which include literature search, writing papers, recording surgical footage, and video editing for video abstracts
• Shadowing Doctors in a clinical setting 
• Interact with pediatric patients
• Help with the planning, organization, and participating in the June 7th Fund-Raising events with a rain date of June 28th

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
• Be in good academic standing
• Work 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday (9am-5pm) 
• Commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
• Film making and editing experience strongly preferred 
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Video editing and filming abilities
• Preferred coursework: Biology, Health Sciences, Pre-Med, Nursing, Pharma Research
