Intern Bachelor Mechanical Engineer

This is a 16-month Co-Op from May 2026 – August 2027.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, Ontario location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the team by assisting in the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical engineering projects, helping to ensure compliance with industry standards and contributing to the successful execution of engineering initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Contracts Security Program (CSP) clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the design and development of systems engineering projects
• Support the testing and validation of systems to ensure functionality and performance
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define system specifications
• Document system design, processes, and procedures
• Participate in system troubleshooting and issue resolution
