The Surgical New Product Development (NPD) group develops new and innovative surgical instrumentation centered around improving women's health.

Throughout your time here you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:

You can expect to get broad exposure to the product development lifecycle for medical devices, and dive deeper into specific phases of this lifecycle. This may include developing and improving test methodology and fixturing for the testing of medical devices, documentation and product design.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:

  • Able to work full-time over the Spring 2026 semester months (January-July)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior 
  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience or exposure to working with SolidWorks
  • Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided

The hourly pay range for this role is $24 - $28 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
