RGA seeks a collaborative, curious, and motivated student to provide support to the Global Human Resources department through a summer internship. In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with HR professionals to gain broad exposure to Global HR while partnering closely with the HR Strategy, Data and Analytics, Talent Management, HR Operations and Rewards teams.

You will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, apply knowledge, and work with HR experts to support RGA’s business strategies. Through RGA’s core internship program, you will also have opportunities to learn about the business and network with other interns.

Responsibilities

While your day-to-day activities may vary, some specific projects you may get involved with include:

  • Support various strategic talent initiatives across talent acquisition and organizational development, including leadership and other development programs, learning content, talent assessments, and succession planning efforts.

  • Supporting Global HR Strategy and Analytics with workforce reporting leveraging Power BI

  • Aiding in the buildout of additional HR metrics and data visualizations

  • Contributing to user experience review of current workforce reporting

  • Building out metrics, reporting, and insights related to our Rewards programs

  • Assisting in ad hoc projects and status tracking to support Global HR strategy

  • Summarizing process documentation and identification of process efficiency opportunities

  • Collaborating across the various HR functions and geographies to evaluate current state processes, and assist in actions to drive greater operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally with focus or coursework in Human Resources Management, Business, Analytics, or Organizational Development

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; additional requirements may apply

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams o Power BI preferred

  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies

  • Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
