Join the West Palm Beach Engine Center Finance team as an intern and immerse yourself in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at one of the fastest-growing aftermarket sites specializing in PW1100G GTF engine overhauls.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact by contributing to the development, management, and reporting of WPBEC financials, directly influencing business results through cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.

You will work on meaningful projects that challenge your skills and expand your knowledge, all while gaining valuable Finance and Accounting insight into the aerospace industry and our company's operations.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and financial model enhancements.
  • Perform analysis and reporting of overhaul costs, engineering charges, and headcount.
  • Support auditing activities and ensure financial compliance.
  • Track capital projects and manage asset translations.
  • Provide analysis for special requests from leadership.

 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accounting or Business pathway

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Willingness to learn and utilize tools like SAP, Business Warehouse, Qlik, OneStream, and other reporting software.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with effective verbal and written communication abilities

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
