Overview of BU/Team:
GCG Madrid is the commercial team that manages a closed portfolio of corporate clients with a global agreement in place
The Intern Will:
The ideal candidate will join the Global Commercial Sales function in Spain, specifically the Global Clients development structure, and will learn to manage specific commercial and process projects by;
Gain experience in interacting with other corporate functions (e.g. PA Servicing, Credit, New Accounts, Onboarding) and being tasked to monitor and optimize internal processes for American Express (e.g. American Express solution for Colleagues’ meals) and other Clients.
Comprehend the NPS (Net Promoter Score) satisfaction analysis management process for the B2B clients, from the preparatory phase to the implementation of ad hoc contents and strategies to optimize response rates that influence the results.
Understand the structure in the daily client management activities and learn to produce internal and external reporting and liaise with the operations units.
Desirable Qualifications/Skills & Experience/Language Requirements:
Current graduate students in Economics are encouraged to apply
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
You’re able to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and proactively solve problems
Good communication and relational skills
Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement
Team player
Fluency in English & Spanish
Proficient knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power Point)

For Recent Graduate Students:
Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market.
To enroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
For Undergraduate Students:
If you are an undergraduate or masters student, you must be in your final year of study and your university will need to agree that you can commit to 35hours per week. Please ensure you check this with your university prior to applying.
