Internship

Under general supervision provides essential support for departmental functions that include a wide range of activities and initiatives.

• Build Product & Ingredient Profiles:

  • Help collect and organize data on texture, viscosity, and other key traits of mixes, inclusions, and coatings.

  • Assist in creating profiles for raw materials, including ingredient photos and descriptions.

  • Contribute to a growing database that helps define quality standards and supports troubleshooting.

• Support Lab Testing & Tools:

  • Learn how to use lab instruments like Gas Chromatography (GC), texture analyzers, and particle size tools.

  • Help gather baseline data for new equipment like the Rapid Visco Analyzer (RVA) and chocolate analysis tools.

• Assist with Documentation:

  • Support the team in documenting results and lab methods 

  • Help ensure that testing procedures are consistent and easy to follow.

• What you'll Learn:

  • How to build meaningful product and ingredient profiles that support quality and innovation.

  • The role of lab testing in solving real-world production challenges.

  • How to work in a collaborative lab environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a lab setting and following safety guidelines.

• A team player with good communication skills.
