Job Description

Keysight Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Intern ASIC R&D Digital Design Engineer. You will be an integral part of the innovative, solutions-oriented research and development team, to design digital / DSP ASICs. As an Intern, you will apply your Hardware/Software Engineering coursework to a variety of focused hands-on projects. This position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, recently ranked as the most desirable place to live by U.S. News & World Report.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities

  • Explore, design, implement, and verify the DSP and digital blocks for the ASIC
  • Participate in the verification of the ASIC and the turn-on and debug of the ASIC in a product
  • Improve and automate established ASIC tools and verification methodologies to increase productivity, quality, and effectiveness

Qualifications


  • Junior level or above at time of summer internship and pursuing BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or Computer Engineering)
  • Some experience in the direct design and verification of digital and mixed signal ASICs and DSP algorithms either in ASICs or FPGAs
  • Strong EE fundamentals with some experience in ASIC Design, DSP, digital architectures/systems, and verification of large and mixed signal ASIC designs
  • Some understanding of ASIC/FPGA design flow, methodologies, and process
  • Fluent with object-oriented programming in C++, Verilog, System Verilog
  • Understanding of analog design basics
  • Understanding of digital ASIC design methods and tools
  • Strong teamwork and written/verbal communication skills
Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Colorado Pay Range: $38.09-$41.02 per hour
Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
