We are searching for the best talent for Velys Enabling Tech Marketing Co-Op to be in Markham, ON.
- The typical Co-op term is from January to December, 2026
- Full time requirement (37,5 hours per week)

The main responsibility of this role will be to partner with the Lead, Enabling Tech to build and implement marketing strategies for the Enabling Technologies (ET) platform that included orthopedic power tools, robotics, surgical navigation and digital surgery products.
You will be responsible for:
- Applying principles of marketing fundamentals to gain strong customer insights to aid in the building of customer centric and innovative marketing plans for ET products that achieve a defined metric.
- Developing and managing of the successful execution of specific promotional programs that achieve projected program outcomes and share and market forecasts.
- Spending time with customers to develop relationships, understanding needs and translating needs into business opportunities.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing and other functional partners to build and leverage interdependencies across Med Tech businesses to drive innovation and accelerate growth in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in forecasting, business analysis and business planning.
- Effectively and creatively communicate key strategies to the sales teams.
- Conducts market assessments of business opportunities and deliver recommendations to the Marketing group.
- Assist in the Canadian commercial launch of any new products in the ET portfolio.
- Holistic market assessment to understand the capital selling process, collaborators and key success factors within the Canadian Healthcare system with outcomes contributing the overall portfolio strategy.
- Assisting in the design, development and execution of a technical service organization dedicated to supporting in-market ET’s in-market.
- Act in a Project Manager capacity to ensure timely execution of assign projects.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Completion of bachelor’s degree at an accredited University is required.
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or MBA degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related fields in Canada.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
- Experience in social media marketing platforms as google analytics is highly desirable.
- 2-3 years of relevant full-time business experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare marketing and or sales will be an asset.
- Experience with large capital products.
- Omnichannel and Digital Marketing experience.
- Proven analytical and project management skills
- Strong business and analytical competence.
- Proactive and results oriented with the ability to lead.
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrate an innovative, customer -centric mentality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
