Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for an Intern for the IT System Engineering team. As an Intern in IT System Engineering you will have the opportunity to work with the team to understand on-prem infrastructure as well as technical tools for day-to-day Infrastructure tasks. You will be part of building and maturing these practices in a Fortune 500 company.

Role:

Virtualized environment with VMWare administration
Active Directory support and maintenance
Storage platform support, maintenance, and reporting
Assist in ongoing projects
Work collaboratively with internal and external IT resources for vulnerability management.

Opportunities:

Collaborate with a team of peers to research, propose, and implement solutions to current security challenges and audit requirements

Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, information systems, or other IT-related field
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in engineering, information systems, and related technical support
Basic understanding of IT security practices or application development process
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a strong work ethic
