Numerous technical challenges arise when designing advanced SiP products including electromagnetically modeling complex packages, co-designing and optimizing ICs plus package, running system-level simulation and verification at various levels of abstraction, running system-level physical verification, analyzing thermomechanical stress, and more. To support this complex engineering domain, Analog Devices’ Chip Package System Engineering (CPSE) team has developed a platform on which various SiP design flows are built using leading-edge tools and advanced methodologies. 

We are seeking to hire a motivated intern to work with both the CPSE team and ADI’s design engineers to provide support for this platform, and to drive forward enhancements.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Work on improvements to the platform, under the guidance of CPSE experts
• Provide support for the platform through close interaction with ADI’s engineers, 
across a broad range of products
• Engage with technical experts at leading EDA vendors, and drive feature 
enhancements

Minimum Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, 
Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience through courses or employment in some/all of these areas preferred:
• Analog/RF Circuits: Knowledge of analog and/or RF circuit fundamentals 
• Mixed-Signal IC Design: Knowledge of analog/digital circuit integration
• Simulation Modeling: Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, 
MATLAB, and Cadence Design Suite to validate design performance
• Integrated Circuit Layout: Understanding of physical IC layout 
considerations and hands-on experience with layout tools and techniques
• System analysis/integration
• Numerical analysis
• Programming experience in C/C++, Python, Perl or other languages

Good communication and analytical skills, technical strength, an inquisitive mind, ability to collaborate with others, and strong drive are all assets for this position.
