Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for an IT Intern Engineer for the Customer Channels team. The Customer Channels team manages and supports applications that Cintas customers use to pay bills, request changes and purchase products. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with functional analysts and software engineers developing, understanding requirement changes, unit and system testing, cross impact evaluation, and providing support for the applications. The applicant must communicate effectively with business and IT partners and have an aptitude to learn and understand Cintas business processes.

Role:

Work with functional analysts and software engineers to architect, develop, test, and deploy software solutions in support of Cintas’ customer-facing applications
Learn and understand how critical business processes are automated via Customer Channels applications
Work with and present to multiple levels of management your assignments and developed solutions

Opportunities:

Experience in eliciting requirements, architecture and solution implementation, and managing them through the software developing lifecycle
Experience in planning, unit testing, and system testing of application changes
Exposure to time management

Exposure to SAP Commerce technologies and online development tools
Exposure to Spring Framework, FlexibleSearch, IMPEX, Groovy, and SAP Commerce framework
Exposure to standard coding practices

Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, information systems
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Experience with Java object-oriented programming
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a strong work ethic
