Finance and Accounting at NinjaTrader

As a Summer Intern in our Finance Department, you will be working with our Accounting Team. All interns will be a part of a 10-week program within our Finance team. This program is designed to identify future leaders of NinjaTrader. The development program will offer valuable industry and functional insight. You will have the opportunity to have a mentor and learn from senior leadership at the Company. Example projects could include preparation of weekly accounts payable; General ledger entries; Review financial policies and procedures of the company; Analyze results and trends and reconcile balance sheet accounts; Other financial reporting and analysis.

What You'll Do:

Assist with weekly processing of accounts payable and related transactions
Participate in month-end close process by posting general ledger entries and preparing account reconciliations
Partner with FP&A and Financial Operations teams on ad-hoc projects
Analyze financial results and trends
Participate on cross-functional teams

What you'll need:

Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business with relevant coursework or experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Superior leadership abilities
Strong business acumen, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated to achieve desired goals and objectives
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business problems
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks with ease
Must be detail- and results-oriented with a proven track record of success
