Program overview:

Our 2026 Summer Internship Program runs for 9 weeks, starting on Monday, June 8th and finishing on Friday, August 7th, 2026.   This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.  We are only accepting applications from students in their Junior year, graduating in 2027. 

Throughout the program you will:

  • Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business
  • Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience
  • Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
  • Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career

This internship provides practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in the Asset Management sector.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to innovative investment solutions that address global megatrends and evolving client needs.

Required skills and capabilities:

Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:

  • You will be in your Junior year.  Unfortunately, we no longer accept applications from Seniors considering further studies (i.e. Masters) upon completion of undergraduate course 
  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to understand our target audiences

Candidates should be available to start the internship on June 8th and work through August 7th.  This will be onsite in the New York City office 3x a week on a hybrid working model.  Housing not provided, but a stipend will be provided to those outside of the tristate area.
