P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.
Our Claims IT team is looking for a Technical Analyst Intern to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote) out of the Cincinnati office for the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
-Creating and maintaining documentation such as user stories, process flows, and requirements.
Requirements:
-Junior in college, pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or data analytics
-Ability to read/decipher data models/schema
-Ability to read and write SQL queries
-Involved in application testing
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
-Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Pluses:
-Knowledge of TOAD application
-Data warehouse concepts to include understanding of front-end data entry and back-end data consumption
-SQL Server Management Studio experience
-Ability to read and understand XML
-Knowledge of ETL
-Experience with database systems
-Familiarity with project management software
