ByteDance Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experiences in data center networking on a massive scale. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at ByteDance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Start Dates: - June 8th, 2026 - June 22nd, 2026 - July 6th, 2026 Responsibilities - Develop software and tools to enhance automation and improve efficiency in IDC network implementation and operations. - Analyze network data and create software solutions by applying principles and techniques from computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. - Work closely with software development teams to plan, design and iterate network platforms. Minimum Qualifications - Final year or undergraduate with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; - Good network knowledge, such as OSI and TCP/IP model; - Have basic understanding of how network devices work, such as switches, routers; - Have a passion for networking and am willing to learn; - Self-motivated, good communication and writing skills, good team player; Preferred Qualifications - Basic understanding of network knowledge, like OSI model, TCP/IP, etc. - Highly interested in analyzing, troubleshooting and automation related systems. - A strong sense of responsibility, self-driven and can quickly adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
