ChampionX’s Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for interns to own strategic projects within their assigned group. At the conclusion of the internship, interns will provide senior management with a professional presentation sharing project overviews, findings, and future recommendations.

What You Will Do:
Work in an officeand plant-based setting
Opportunity to work on field competency, human performance, process safety, chemical registration and chemical safety, environmental emissions
Work with the environmental, health and safety disciplines
Support with development and improvement of programs, systems and procedures
Get be involved in incident investigations and process improvements
Assist in developing employee trainings, emergency preparedness and quality assurance programs
Ensuring health and safety, environmental and quality standards are met on-site
Identifying potential hazards and critical controls
Help in Completing risk assessments and site inspections
Suggesting improvements to working processes
Ensuring staff understand safety procedures
Help with compiling statistics for reports and presentations
Developing and reviewing safety policies and procedures
Lead project with potential of developing standards
Facilitate trainings
Visit manufacturing sites
Cofacilitate audits
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in an ABET accredited educational program
Completed 2 years of study required, completed 3 years preferred
Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Toxicology, Chemistry or Regulatory

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurricular involvement
Proficient user of the MS Office suite
