We have the following opportunities:

  • AI & Innovation Intern – You will explore various areas of our organization, identifying where artificial intelligence can be used to boost efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with different departments, learning about their unique challenges, and then help develop and test AI-driven solutions. You’ll strengthen your skills by tackling real-world challenges and contributing to our mission of addressing the world’s greatest problem—lostness.

  • Alumni Research & Engagement Intern – You will support strategic initiatives to strengthen alumni relationships and enhance engagement efforts. You will play a vital role in reconnecting and engaging with a unique segment of our alumni community (TCKs). This intern will bring curiosity, compassion, and creativity to the role—combining online research, personal outreach, and strategic communication to foster meaningful connections and encouragement.

  • Archives Collection Intern - You will conduct research and format metadata for archival digital collections, arrange and create inventories of physical and digital archival collections, and conduct archival research.

  • Business Analyst Intern – You will assist in projects related to process and system enhancements. This will include identifying opportunities for improvement, assisting with user acceptance testing, documentation and training, and participating in user feedback and planning meetings.  You will also assist with data quality and analytics projects that undergird process efficiency.

  • Data Stewardship & Analytics Intern - You will assist with some data analytics and reporting projects, help with data accuracy and clean-up. You will also work with our data analysts on operations of our master data management software. This will provide experience not only in data analytics, but other components of data stewardship and data visualization.

  • Digital Marketing & Design Intern – You will work as a part of our Global Innovation Team with our field teams, utilizing cutting-edge digital strategies to engage audiences around the world with the Gospel. You will gain hands-on experience with the latest digital marketing tools and trends, help create targeted campaigns for diverse global audiences focused on digital evangelism and discipleship, and learn to apply AI in marketing and design.

  • Field Connections Intern - You will be responsible for aiding associates and managers on the Field Partnerships and Pathways team in capacities that engage, serve, and recruit Southern Baptists to participate in the Great Commission. This may include outbound communication initiatives such as emails and phone calls, research, data collection, spreadsheet updating, management, and other similar tasks.

  • Global Business Services Intern – You will gain exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance functions within a mission organization. Financial concepts will be covered as well as hands-on training and completion of operational tasks. Opportunities to participate in projects will be available and daily interactions will occur with leaders in the organization.

  • Global Research Analyst Intern – You will assist in a wide variety of research-related projects ranging from creating data visualizations, statistical analysis on field metrics related to the missionary task, anthropological research, qualitative and mixed-method research, geospatial analysis, and script writing. You will gain exposure to global research and be involved in research projects that help advance the Kingdom of God through the missionary task.

  • Global Research Intern – You will support a broad range of research initiatives that contribute to the missionary task. These may include anthropological studies, qualitative and mixed-methods research, analysis of field data, and exploration of global ministry trends. • Global Security Operations Monitor Intern – You will detect, analyze, and alert others regarding any adverse conditions that could impact personnel or operations. These may range from extreme weather conditions to political instability, crime, terror, or technical failures. The GSOC monitor also collects, analyzes, and summarizes incident and activity data reported by personnel to the GSOC during their shift.

This role will assist with the implementation and monitoring of security controls to protect information assets across diverse, decentralized, and cross-cultural environments. You will also support incident response activities by identifying, documenting, and analyzing potential security threats and vulnerabilities. In addition, you will collaborate with technical and ministry teams to embed secure practices into systems and workflows, with a strong focus on supporting field operations and advancing global outreach initiatives.
