- Learn how to read, interpret, and produce detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- Create clear and accurate documentation to support production and engineering needs.
- Present project findings to team members and leadership, gaining valuable professional communication experience.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with at least one year of coursework completed.

- Strong computer and Excel skills, with a knack for organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from hands-on experience.
💡 Why Join Pyrotek?
This internship is your chance to:
- Build your technical and professional skills in a real manufacturing environment.
- Work alongside engineers who are passionate about innovation and problem-solving.
- Contribute to projects that directly support our mission of advancing global industries.
- Gain exposure to Engineering, Operations, and Production, setting a strong foundation for your career.
🏭 Work Environment
You’ll primarily work in an office setting with occasional time spent on the production floor — getting a firsthand look at how engineering decisions come to life. Safety is always our top priority, and all necessary PPE is provided.
Must be able to sit for long periods-of-time, bend, and reach, use stairs, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and
communicate effectively in English by telephone, in person and in writing. Effectively use a personal computer, office equipment and telephone.
While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, Team Member generally will work in an office environment, with occasional work in an industrial manufacturing environment, where moderate background noise, presence of natural and artificial light, exposure to work temperatures from ambient to controlled, hard walking surfaces for standing and walking, and moderate amounts of airborne graphite dust, are present. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as approved footwear, respirators, safety glasses/goggles, etc., may be required.
