The primary objective of the role is to promote and develop the sales activities of Hapag-Lloyd by focusing on digital products, online tools and selling responsibility for our smaller customers who do not need to be visited by external sales.
Technical knowledge of containers
Knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd’s products, equipment and processes
Customer-oriented with positive attitude.
Knowledge of market & competitors
Knowledge of related regulations
Comprehensive knowledge of user application systems (FIS, MS Office, SAP, MARS)
Good command of spoken and written English
Able to demonstrate strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Able to network appropriately in order to enhance business relationships
Able to communicate with a strong sense of service orientation.
Provide quotations to customer base in line with Hapag Lloyds pricing guidelines
Liaise with existing and potential new customers and follow up on all sales leads
Provide regular feedback on market information to management
Administration duties with strong attention to detail
Monitoring the group mailbox
