Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Quality assurance of new tools and processes within localization
- Perform linguistic testing of the localized content: typo, grammar, punctuation, syntax etc.
- You will identify Internationalization/localization bugs, categorize them properly, and support development teams to fix/verify the bugs to closure.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure accuracy is preserved across language(s).
- Functional testing of the ServiceNow Platform.
- Work with the i18n automation team to analyse violations captured by the automation tooling.
- You will perform test activities that include the usability aspects of a product/feature.
- Seek continuous improvement within quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a full-time Master's Degree program in Translation Studies, Translation Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline at an accredited university.
- Must be a student for the full duration of the internship
- Must be available to start on 15th June 2026
- Commit to the full-time 6-12 months internship duration
- Native-level proficiency in another language as well as English is beneficial
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Understanding of International/localization Quality engineering.
- Proven ability to work with their classmates/lecturers and build a high-performance culture that embraces collaborative techniques.
- Ideally, have some knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects.
- Desire to interact with many different development teams to test and report on product issues pertaining to localisation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in evaluating or integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving through AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or assessing AI's potential impact
- Understanding of foundational AI concepts including basic prompt engineering
- Full-stack development capabilities with software design principles and agile methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in constructing scalable, secure, and efficient software systems
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithms. Basic understanding of relational data modeling
- Previous software engineering experience gained from internships, academic or personal projects, coding competitions or relevant publications
