What does our Summer Internship involve?
The program runs for 10 weeks starting in June and allows you to gain valuable business experience and on-the-job training. You’ll work with industry experts, company leaders, and peers to help you develop personally and professionally.
Our internships are designed to enhance your academic background by providing hands-on, relatable experience as you work on real projects with real impact.
We have a variety of investment departments in both our Edinburgh and London offices where you could make an impact. Our investment teams are committed to preserving the deep subject matter expertise that gives us our investment edge. We have a broad range of capabilities across all asset classes.
Interns may be hired to support the following areas of investment management: Investment Solutions, Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives, Multi-Asset Solutions, and Sustainability.
What will help you be successful in this role?
Strong interest in the financial services industry
Ambition to connect with industry leaders and intern peers
Effective verbal & written communication, and presentation skills
Solid analytical skills with an eye for detail
Self-directed and goal oriented
Ability to multi-task while meeting multiple deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Eagerness to learn and a desire to be a team player
Recruitment Timeline
Our team of recruiters will begin reaching out to candidates whose skills and interests best match our profile from November onwards. While we expect many positions to be filled in early 2026, we'll continue interviewing candidates on a rolling basis, as new opportunities are submitted by company leaders.
