ROLE DESCRIPTION:

  • MUST be currently Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or Business Administration from four-year, accredited college or university. This role is open to Sophomore Students. Bilingual English/Spanish (speaking, reading and writing) is required.
  • Work Schedule:  During School need to be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (can work a max of 28 hours a week if able to do so) during business hours (7:30am to 5:30pm) and During Breaks can be up to 40 hours a week as needed. (We will work around your school schedule).
  • Length of Internship: 2 Years and could extend longer OR turn into a full-time position with approved headcount.
  • Target start date is January 20, 2026.

The LATAM Service Operations Associate is responsible for supporting program and service managers by introducing innovative project management practices, and ensuring effective coordination, traceability, and follow-up of deliverables and open actions throughout the project lifecycle.

BASIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Program Managers in reconciling and maintaining monthly operational hours for each unit, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing.
  • Support regional teams in consolidating and archiving project documentation in the designated repository throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with the management and track of miscellaneous kits for the region, ensuring proper inventory management and replenishment.
  • Support Program Managers to collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely updates and proactive communication to end users regarding open transactional parts purchase orders.
  • Lead one process improvement initiative for the region, driving efficiency and enhancing project planning, execution or close out.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to capture best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the management and tracking of tool kits for the region, ensuring proper inventory management and replenishment.
  • Maintain and update cost tracking templates for the region and ensure the most up to date cost rates are used. This involves contacting vendors for quotes as directed.

  • Education and/or Experience: Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or Business Administration from four-year, accredited college or university. This role is open to Sophomore Students.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Spanish speaking is required, and Portuguese speaking is desired but not mandatory.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, networking concepts, computer programming languages, flow charts, etc.

 INTERESTS

  • Interested in learning about Long Term Service Agreements and Turbine Service Operations including Program / Project life cycle, Contractual Language and Project Financials & Reporting.
