Facilities Management and Training Applications Co-op

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Co-op to join our team and contribute to exciting projects supporting both the facilities and training departments.  This position offers hands-on experience in software development and data analysis, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while gaining valuable industry experience.

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications or tools.
• Collaborate with team members to debug and improve existing software systems.
• Participate in the creation and optimization of algorithms and data structures for efficiency.
• Analyze and interpret data to generate insights that guide decision-making.
• Provide IT support or troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in computer science.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Power BI (basic knowledge)
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and query languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt and learn new tools and technologies quickly
