EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at an accredited school in the USA.
- Solid background in Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing, and Operating Systems
- Proficient in assembly language x86 or ARM, C++, Matlab or Python, Shell scripting
- Experience with experiment design, data processing, and analysis
It would be nice if you also had:
- Some relevant industry experience and/or peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with gem5 simulator
As part of our team, you will:
- Analyze, identify, and assess performance issues running large server code on “little” CPUs in a multi-core SoC
- Identify techniques for software optimization and build prototypes to prove the idea
- Execute computer experiments to test the performance and process the results
