EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at an accredited school in the USA.

  • Solid background in Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing, and Operating Systems
  • Proficient in assembly language x86 or ARM, C++, Matlab or Python, Shell scripting
  • Experience with experiment design, data processing, and analysis

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Some relevant industry experience and/or peer-reviewed publications
  • Experience with gem5 simulator

As part of our team, you will:

  • Analyze, identify, and  assess performance issues running large server code on “little” CPUs in a multi-core SoC
  • Identify techniques for software optimization and build prototypes to prove the idea
  • Execute computer experiments to test the performance and process the results
