Verisk‘s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time (37.5 hours/ week) paid internship program spanning ten weeks from mid-June through end of August 2026. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near Warwick office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
This internship sits within the Product and Technology team in the Underwriting division, supporting projects across the UK, Ireland, and General Insurance business units.

Experience
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, ideally in Business, Economics, STEM, or related fields.
- Interest in data, technology, and the insurance or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Exposure to APIs or data-related projects is helpful but not required.
The Intern Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. If you will require work visa sponsorship after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of the summer intern role.
What You Could Learn:
- Support business analysis activities including scoping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
- Assist in documenting customer and internal requirements for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Participate in Agile development projects and contribute to project documentation.
- Help prepare business cases and customer-facing materials.
- Gain exposure to tools and technologies such as APIs, JSON, XML, and data solutions.
- Learn how to communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and business teams.
