About The Opportunity
This position works closely with the Sustainability Team. The Sustainability Intern will support key initiatives that advance our environmental performance and compliance. This role offers hands-on experience in sustainability data analysis, regulatory tracking, and operational assessments across multiple business units. You will have guidance from a mentor on the Sustainability Team as well as be included in Menasha Corporation’s Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.Essential to this Position
The Sustainability Intern will be responsible for assisting the Sustainability Team with projects starting in summer of 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in sustainability strategy execution, data analysis, and regulatory compliance within a leading packaging manufacturing environment.
Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
Utilize online tools such as the USGS Water Data Portal, EPA WaterSense, and regional Water Atlases to benchmark usage and identify local water stress indicators.
Conduct a comprehensive inventory of waste streams across operations.
Assist in collecting emissions, waste and water data for sustainability KPIs.
Contribute to internal and external reporting (e.g., CDP, ESG disclosures).
Develop a compliance calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, and areas of risk.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and/or GIS is a plus.
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, disclosures and regulations (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, GRI).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Internship and co-op positions require that the student is currently enrolled in post-secondary education at the time of employment.
