Quantitative traders leverage data analysis, mathematical modeling, and technology to drive automated and systematic trading strategies. They design and implement proprietary algorithms, analyze large data sets, and optimize trading performance using advanced quantitative techniques
Job responsibilities
Build algorithms for automated trading of liquid instruments across electronic channels.
Develop quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and execution.
Conduct data analysis and backtesting to identify patterns and improve strategies.
Make data-driven decisions to optimize liquidity and trading outcomes.
Stay current with advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, and programming.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or Ph.D. program in math, science, engineering, computer science or other quantitative fields.
Object-oriented programming experience with one or more of Python, Matlab, C++, Java, or C#.
Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated research ability.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated interest in systematic trading (no prior experience in financial markets required).

As a Systematic Trading Analyst or Associate in the Markets Program, you will work alongside top-tier professionals in a dynamic environment. You’ll apply academic knowledge to real-world financial challenges, gain hands-on experience, and build a valuable network. This program sets a solid foundation for your career, with potential full-time offers upon successful completion. The Internship Program starts in February or June, based on your academic schedule, and will be 12 to 24 weeks in duration.
Candidates will be eligible for Analyst or Associate programs based on their academic experience:
Candidates enrolled in a PhD program will be eligible for Associate level positions and are expected to demonstrate advanced proficiency in any programming language.
Candidates enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program will be eligible for Analyst level positions.
