Division Information

PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Financial has an exciting analytics internship opening in the Used Equipment Sales Department at PACCAR's corporate office in Bellevue, Washington. The selected individual will collaborate directly with the Pricing & Strategy Team, gaining exposure and experience in executing value-add initiatives. Internships include unique learning opportunities such as:

• Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
• Develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders
• Gain valuable hands on experience

This internship is targeted to start in either mid-May/June 2026.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Support PACCAR Financials’ Strategic Pricing Initiatives under the guidance of the Pricing & Sales Strategy Manager
  • Develop impactful Tableau dashboards to support decision-making across corporate teams and used truck center sales teams.
  • Leverage Python to identify sales opportunities, analyze market trends, and optimize reporting.
  • Conduct an in-depth strategic analysis of used equipment, identifying actionable opportunities to enhance customer value.
• Reporting Development for Pricing and Sales initiatives.
  • Apply the latest AI tools to streamline departmental processes and improve efficiency.
  • Gather data and prepare dashboards, focusing on key metrics such as sales results, trends, and inventory levels.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and present implementation plans to the leadership team.

Skills / Competencies

• Ideal candidate is seeking a career in Analytics, Strategy, or Pricing. 
• Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining high quality customer-service orientation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Tableau is a plus. 
• Experience with Python is a plus.

Education

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or graduate program
• For undergraduates, Junior or Senior standing preferred
