Hours: M-F, 40 hr / week

This intern will join our Solutions Consulting team, acting as a bridge between the sales, product, and engineering teams, developing strategies for GeoComply's growth into new verticals and helping to position our technology to solve complex problems.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy internship for someone who thrives on complexity, ambiguity, and directly influencing business strategy. You won't be doing 'busy work'—you will be tasked with a critical, business-contributing project aimed at pushing specific product features forward to help us meet our clients needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Solutions Consultants in development planning by prioritizing projects, specifying ownership, finalizing scopes, setting timelines, and aligning resources with stakeholders.
  • Audit and update internal knowledge bases and technical documentation to keep information accurate and current for internal and external consumption.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams by identifying customer problems on sales discovery calls and presenting concise feedback internally to ensure customer satisfaction and timelines are met.
  • Support integration efforts such as scoping how geolocation compliance data streams into dashboards and 3rd party backend services.
  • Solve, Don't Sell: Solutions consultants work by establishing client trust, then partnering with them to diagnose, advise, and co-architect GeoComply solutions across Fintech, Media and Entertainment, Crypto, and other verticals.
  • Embrace Stretch Opportunities (The Fun Part!): As a GeoComply intern, expect to be pushed. You’ll be given special, high-value projects outside the immediate scope of your role, a chance to explore new roles, test your limits, and adapt to new challenges across the business.

About You

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Post Secondary Education Program. 
  • Puzzle Solver. You’re a problem solver at your core, you’d enjoy developing a deeper understanding of customers' technical environments, challenges, and integration needs, and working with them to ensure our product meets their needs.
  • Support Focused: You are capable of troubleshooting and providing direct technical support for common integration issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Adaptable: This team is at the intersection of a lot of projects and areas of expertise. You are energized by the idea of jumping into brand new cases without a clear playbook, or creating your own!
  • Growth Mindset: You actively seek mentorship, feedback, and are defined by your eagerness to master new tools and pivot when the business calls for it.
  • Technically Minded: You have a deep interest in product and technology, and want to work in the feild.
  • Embrace Automation: You proactively identify opportunities to automate manual administrative tasks and can demonstrate the ability to pivot between planned project work and critical, high-priority support tasks.
  • Proficient: No hard skills needed, we can train you in any of our tools! The ability to quickly get up to speed with a new process or tool will be a bigger asset than experience in a specific domain.

  • High level technical skills. Whatever you need for the role technically, can be taught
  • Specific experience in integration. Our team will be there to help you get up to speed!
  • To be a bandwagoner: You’d prefer to write the plan, present the alternatives, and defend the final proposal, even if it means telling a leader their idea misses the mark.

  • By the end of your internship, you will be equipped to lead a customer to go-live and beyond by supporting the sales team, leading technical discussions, formulating an integration plan, and ideally launching your very own customer!
  • Your Intern Capstone Project will be to complete a full-cycle product feature proposal selected from our development pipeline, including researching, proposal development, and presenting your final strategy to the VP of your team.
  • Career Exploration: This role will give you exposure to all aspects of product, business development and integrations, great for someone who is interested in breadth over depth professionally.
