Prologis Summer Internship Program

Do you want to play a role in global commerce? Are you seeking practical experience to supplement your academic pursuits?

The Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study. Over a course of 10-12 weeks, our interns will get to collaborate on various significant projects that impact Prologis’ business landscape. Students will have the opportunity to interact and connect with leaders within the company and build workplace acumen through various seminars and Q&A sessions. Regardless of their assigned departments, interns will have access to local market tours in order to fully comprehend Prologis’ business and how their summer contributions impact the end product.

Internship Opportunity: IT

Location(s): Denver, CO

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support AI Solution Development: Collaborate with business teams to identify automation or intelligence opportunities within existing workflows. Assist in designing, prototyping, and testing AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Develop and Test AI Agents: Learn about AI agents and apply technical skills to develop and deploy agents that work alongside business teams to streamline processes and improve outcomes. Support agent testing, documentation, and deployment under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Hands-On Model & Data Work:
    Gain experience working with data and models by supporting tasks such as data preprocessing, model evaluation, or integrating APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Pinecone, or Dataiku). Learn how these systems interact in a production environment.
  • Apply Technical and Analytical Skills: Gain hands-on experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, contributing to real-world projects within the IT organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Engage with the broader AI and Data Analytics teams. Attend project standups, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions to understand how AI integrates with enterprise operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain clear records of testing results, model performance, and system improvements. Contribute to documentation that supports scalability and knowledge transfer within the AI team.
  • Final Presentation:
    At the conclusion of the internship, present a summary of project outcomes, key learnings, and recommendations to the AI/ML Engineering leadership team.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (rising sophomores - seniors) or graduate program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • For technical roles: experience with relevant tools such as Python, SQL, Dataiku, AWS, OpenAI, Pinecone, or similar AI technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity
  • Motivated by curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Creative mindset and openness to tackling new challenges
  • Collaborative team player with a supportive approach

Undergraduate Hiring Hourly Pay: $25-30/Hour

Graduate Hiring Hourly Pay: $35-40/Hour

Hourly pay to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, and skills, as well as internal pay equity and alignment with market data.
