GKMDC is a team of agile solutionists within Strategic Operations in Clinical Sciences with expertise in automation, innovation, knowledge management, collaboration support, and design. Strategic Operations comprises a team of highly skilled professionals with expertise in critical business enablers. Strategic Operations partners with Clinical Sciences to achieve tangible and impactful outcomes for the business. This role will leverage knowledge of internal and external tools and resources as well as act as an internal consultant - helping business teams and colleagues utilize tools and resources effectively in accomplishing our goals.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with business users to understand collaboration requirements and develop/monitor needed SharePoint sites for department projects  

  • Help manage Global Knowledge Management & Digital Collaboration projects and introduce collaborative capabilities to improve work processes on our teams  

  • Analyze and define a problem, evaluate alternatives and seek out solutions by engaging the appropriate team members at the right time.   

  • Must value and appreciate diversity and seek diversity of thought in all initiatives.   

  • Adaptable and flexible in all business environments, capable of leading change with limited information or support.  

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational communication skills.  

  • Be able to manage cross functional programs and adapt priorities quickly.  

  • Professionally interacts with all levels of employees. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in general business, management, computer science, marketing, or other related fields 

  • Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship  

  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 tools, such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel 

  • Experience with design platforms like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
