Job Description

Position Purpose: 

The account management co-op will serve as a key resource to the team.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Directly reporting to the Director of Energy & Account Management.
  • Professional service to account relationships.
  • Prepare client reports, presentations, and account summaries.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities through CRM (Salesforce).
  • Assist with contract management and renewal processes.
  • Support preparation of sales proposals.
  • Provide support for market research efforts.
  • Schedule meetings, calls, and follow-up activities.
  • Analyze account performance metrics and prepare basic reports using excel, powerpoint, and Power BI.
  • Supporting project management requests as required by the rest of the upper management team.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background: 

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Currently enrolled in school obtaining BS/BA, preferably in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
  • Some energy, utility or related experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the energy, utility, or a related sector is a plus.
  • Prior experience in client engagement.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

  • Good PC and Microsoft Office skills, strong Excel and Word skills required; Microsoft Access a plus.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
  • Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette.
  • Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
