Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building data pipelines for machine learning projects with guidance from Data Science leads.
• Support development of predictive models for HDD product quality and reliability
• Help create data processing workflows using established tools and frameworks
• Participate in cross-functional projects to understand AI solution implementation
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns and generate insights for business stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (in progress or recent)
• Python programming with ML libraries (pandas, scikit-learn)
• Basic understanding of data visualization best practices
• Solid SQL and database knowledge
• Understanding of GenAI concepts and LLMs, Prompt Engineering, MCPs and API integration (OpenAI, Windsurf etc)
• Cloud computing basics (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Git version control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ML workflows, Docker, and vector databases/RAG architectures
• Exposure to foundation model fine-tuning and MLOps practices
• Familiarity with data pipeline concepts (exposure to Airflow, Kafka preferred but not required)
• Interest in storage systems and enterprise technology
• Excellent communication, proactive and collaborative learning mindset, self-driven and motivated.
