The Quantitative Pharmacology department is an integrated part of the Translational Medicine Unit organization within Sanofi. We routinely use model-based drug development approaches to enable optimal decision-making to accelerate programs across the pipeline from preclinical to late-stage development. We are currently seeking a co-op/intern for 2026.

Main Responsibilities:
Learn about clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics, including principles of model-based drug development in pharmaceutical R&D settings.
Collaborate with our staff to develop and apply innovative pharmacokinetic (PK) modelling methodologies specifically focusing on physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) analysis contributing to the development and implementation of new capabilities, standards, and approaches.
Participate in various activities, including medical literature review, development of PBPK models to characterize PK in special populations and to predict drug-drug interactions, using state-of-the-art quantitative methodologies such as artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) within the modeling and simulation framework
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a master’s degree or PhD in pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, pharmacology, mathematics, biomedical engineering or relevant discipline at an accredited college or universitywith the expectation that you will complete yourcurrent degreeby the Spring of 2028
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in PBPK modelling or AI/ML, and familiar with software such as SIMCYP, PK-Sim, python, R, and Phoenix, are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
