About the Role
Essity may be a company you are not familiar with, but you will know our market-leading consumer brands, including TENA, Bodyform, Cushelle, Velvet, Plenty and Tork, as well as Leukoplast, Actimove, and JOBST within our medical portfolio. Our company mission is to break barriers and improve the well-being of people across the world through our health and hygiene products and solutions.
Based at our site in Skelmersdale, our Level 4 apprenticeship program is designed to develop you over 2 years to achieve a nationally recognized qualification in Process Engineering. You will report to a skilled manager and have a dedicated coach to help you succeed at work and college.

What You Will Do
Our UK apprenticeship programmes are well-established and have helped many employees launch successful careers across our sites.
- Support the team while developing technical skills through training
- Assist with daily tasks and gradually take on more responsibility
- Learn from experienced professionals through shadowing and observation
- Participate in structured training and workshops
- Apply new skills to solve problems and improve performance
- Collaborate with teams and contribute to continuous improvement
- Demonstrate commitment to our I Care values for a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace
Who You Are
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (Grade C/5+), including Maths & English
- Willingness to learn with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Effective time management and flexibility
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and contribute to a fast-paced environment
