We’ve got the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking a talented Software Developer intern, to join our dynamic and growing team! Based on your team's assignment, here's what you'll do here:

What you’ll do here:

SE Claims Team

  • Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issuesutilizing an Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Support Production of the features we develop- Financial escalation product: analyzing and problem solving of financial batch job failures.

  • Undergo training of our Claims Management system (Guidewire)

  • Learn how to design, code, and test new features of ourclaimsmanagement system. 

  • Discover whatit's like to work as a Developer and how technologicaladvances are changing the wayinsurancecompanies do business 

  • Leverage AI to amplify your productivity and optimize your work efforts., focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Explore new ideas and learn best practices in a fun and inclusive environment

  • Skillsrequired: Java, GitHub

  • Nice to have: Spring Boot, Experience Building Rest Services, API Scraping, MongoDB, AWS

Developer Platform Team

  • Work in the development team building new features for our developer portal and observability solution

  • Bringing in data from multiple sources and creating actionable insights

  • Support the team in triaging and fixing production issues

  • Freedom to bring your own ideas and solutions and following best practices in a small agile and fun team

  • Skills required: Java, GitHub

  • Nice to have: SpringBoot, Experience Building Rest Services, API Scraping, MongoDB, AWS

What you bring to the table: 

  • Currently pursing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a field related to software development, computer science, or any other related field;

  • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2026 Term (January to April)   

  • Must be an active studentduringyourinternship and/or returning to school in Summer 2026 followingyourinternship

  • Have at least one priorinternship in a similar or relatedrole

  • Understand the software developmentlifecycle and becurious about continuousdelivery pipelines and testing

  • Experience in a financial services company (an asset); 

  • Strong analyticalabilities and problem-solvingskills

  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning; 

  • Excellent communication skillswith a passion for technology

  • Self-reliant witha strongsense of responsibility;
