Your Role

  • Evaluate most promising topological techniques (pixelated surfaces or shape deformation) for design optimization of metasurfaces

  • Development of both methods and integration within internal software.

  • Simulation and design on test metasurfaces for a given application

  • Comparison with current internal design methods (metric and merit function definition, computing cost)

  • Contribution in the definition of structures for experimental testing

  • Documentation of the algorithms developed and results

Your Profile

  • A background in Electromagnetism (Interferometry, scattering, photonics, ...) and/or Mathematics (optimization techniques, topology, geometry, ...)

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's program  in one of the above subjects and experience in these fields is a plus

  • Applied knowledge in Python and /or MATLAB
