Position Overview

Join the Inventor® team at Autodesk and help shape one of our flagship products used by over 300,000 professionals worldwide. As an SQA Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance our automation framework and apply AI-driven solutions to improve product quality. Responsibilities

• Research and propose effective automation strategies
• Build and maintain a modern automation framework and MCP server
• Convert existing automation cases into the new framework
• Iterate on framework improvements based on team feedback
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Learning the existing automation framework and scripts
• Investigating modern approaches to automation using C# or Python
• Implementing a new framework or MCP server
• Migrating legacy automation cases into the new system

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in C# or Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with 3D Mechanical CAD/CAE software (e.g., Inventor, Fusion, CATIA, Pro/Engineer)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) or CI/CD tools

About the Canada Internship Program   

The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (January 5th – April 24th or May 4th – August 21st). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.
