We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our energetic Fusion Data team in Canada and help us build solutions on MFGDM (Manufacturing Data Model) that allow our end users to edit data concurrently from our applications, including Fusion, as well as API. MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core to Data Platform for Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product - Fusion.
Please note that this is a hybrid position for Winter 2026 (January -April 2026 work term).
Responsibilities
Implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and fixing bugs as they arise, in both Fusion Desktop and Web-based experiences
Helping with feature design, and translating design and product requirements into engineering tasks
Maintaining a high standard of code quality by following best practices around testing, code reviews, and design patterns
Understanding Agile methodologies, principles and values within the team.
Participating in team retrospectives and feedback loops to improve on future iterations
Collaborating and aligning with remotely located teams involved in the project
Minimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027
Strong Computer Science (CS) fundamentals, with a proficiency in either Typescript, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript to develop components and service
Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about writing well-tested applications (unit tests, functional tests, etc.)
High capacity to deal with a wide variety of technologies in large code bases
Preferred Qualifications
Prior software engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other related projects
Prior experience in Typescript, NodeJS, C++ or React is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools
