Job Description:

The MCD Intern will collaborate with the Commerce Marketing and eCommerce teams within the Marketing Commerce & Design department. This role provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to develop a best-in-class digital presence.

As an intern, you will support our brands across all omni-channel touchpoints, portals, and databases while gaining valuable insights into the broader Marketing & Sales functions. You’ll explore the digital ecosystem, including content management, online visibility (search), and commerce marketing. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with program development, working with agency partners to align plans with brand and retailer objectives, and other assigned tasks. This internship offers exposure to leadership principles and networking opportunities across various enterprise business units.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or graduate degree program at an accredited university required with at least one year of school remaining. Students seeking a degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, or Agriculture-related degree preferred.

Experience: Previous business work experience preferred. 

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook, and basic understanding of internet.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: A successful candidate for an Intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multi-tasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.

Position-Specific Requirements: This internship is a year-round role where candidates are expected to work part-time (20 hours/week) during the school year and in person full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer. This is a paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.

This role requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters and must live within a commutable range (60 miles or less) of the office year-round to be considered
