The Corporate Strategy Summer Intern will be based in Arden Hills, MN and takes place for approximately 11 weeks (May – August 2026). Relocation assistance provided for eligible candidates.

The Corporate Strategy and Business Development team at Land O’Lakes leads high-profile projects and initiatives sponsored by Land O’Lakes Executive Leadership Team to support enterprise and business unit strategy and growth. The team serves as trusted, internal consultants across three disciplines – strategy formulation, industry and competitive insights, and M&A – to have a significant impact on the company’s strategy and performance.

As a Corporate Strategy Summer Intern, you will:

• Contribute to business-critical projects that will test your ability to think strategically, glean insights from data, and deliver a recommendation to business leadership.

• Engage in mentorship and professional development programming throughout the summer.

• Expand your professional network and connect directly with Land O’Lakes senior leadership team.

• Deliver a final presentation of your project recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the summer internship.

 The Corporate Strategy Summer Intern will provide hands-on experience across various aspects of Land O’Lakes Corporate Strategy, Planning and Business Development activities. Projects may include evaluating potential growth opportunities, industry trend reviews and analyses, competitive and emerging market analyses and modeling potential business impact, assessing organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and supporting strategic planning and M&A activities.

Program Details:

• Duration:11 weeks, May–August 2026

• Hourly Rate:$27.00/hour. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

• Work Environment: Hybrid; minimum 3 days/week onsite in Arden Hills, MN (Tuesday–Thursday)

Experience-Education (Required)

• Current junior (preferred) or senior undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineeringor related field

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Competencies-Skills (Required)

• Curious and Analytical - Intellectually curious with the ability to go beyond surface-level information to seek and understand key insights and business implications; Ability to track down primary/secondary research, analyze data, and synthesize findings  

• Business Acumen - Experience using quantitative and qualitative strategic and financial frameworks to analyze the attractiveness and potential of growth opportunities. Foundational knowledge and exposure to multiple business disciplines (i.e. marketing, supply chain, or finance/accounting)

• Strong Collaborator - Team player; Track record of quickly gaining credibility, partnering with business leaders; Able to effectively lead and contribute to cross-functional teams through influence
