Position Overview
The Corporate Strategy Intern will assist in the development of Exact Sciences’ long-range strategy, track industry trends, evaluate internal and external market opportunities, and support other strategic projects. The position is intended to be a full-time/limited-term opportunity that lasts from May/June until August. The Corporate Strategy intern will be assigned several large projects and assist with smaller ad-hoc projects based on the needs of the department. The Intern will work in collaboration with other team members as well as leaders of key functions. As a Corporate Strategy Intern, you will work on meaningful assignments with a clear impact on our company and stakeholders.

This internship is for the summer of 2026.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:

Support the strategy and executive teams as they make key strategic decisions
Prepare high-quality presentations for internal and external audiences
Build and maintain models to support fact-based decision making with regards to long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Conduct desk research and assist with external market research to aid the prioritization of corporate strategies (new products, product expansions, M&A, etc)
Build models to assist in the evaluation of new products and strategies
Effectively communicate findings to Leadership
Analyze new product markets and help determine early commercialization strategies
Participate in team onsite, workshops, and networking events

Minimum Qualifications

Enrollment towards bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Business or Finance
Experienced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Strong analytical skills, business intuition, and organizational ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptability and eagerness to learn

Desired Characteristics

Past experience in healthcare, strategy, finance, consulting, or banking
Advanced skills in Powerpoint and/or Excel

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an office setting, operate a telephone system, and a computer
