Job Description

As an Intern at Lennox, you will be a part of a team of innovative and knowledgeable industry professionals. You can expect to participate in impactful, developmental projects designed for your specific area of focus. This will provide you with real work experiences to grow your career and provide exposure to business leaders throughout the company. 

Successful interns will have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation. Relocation and/or travel may be required for your position.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?This internship supports the LII Lennox Foundation, our internal service organization. The intern will assist the Foundation Specialist in managing projects, planning events, and advising employees about our giving platform. The role includes working with nonprofits globally regarding community grants and volunteer opportunities, and collaborating with other departments at Lennox to support communication, volunteering, and planning efforts.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, HR, Nonprofits, or Accounting
  • Willing and able to start in March 2026 with continuation through the summer
  • Detail-oriented and high energy

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in employee engagement or nonprofit work
  • Specializing in event planning or community outreach
  • Confident in presenting in front of large groups
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • Passion for nonprofit work and employee engagement

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 – $22/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
