About Global Supply Management:

Global Supply Management (GSM) is responsible for partnering with Amex colleagues to optimize their third-party spend. The team provides strategic consultation to the business while providing end-to-end procurement services. It maximizes the purchasing power of the Company to drive the best value from its supplier base which then frees-up investment capacity for the Enterprise. GSM, together with its business partners, manages the supplier strategy for the Company: identifying and on-boarding new third-party suppliers, realizing significant cost savings, and generating value through collaboration with GCS and GMNS.

About the Role:

The Contract Analyst will report to the Global Contract Governance & Effectiveness (GCG&E) Manager.Your role is to support GSM and GCG&E to deliver key projects, manage and optimize our global contract template inventory, support the management of the Approved Supplier List (ASL), and act as an escalation point for supplier contract negotiations.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining internal stakeholder relationships across various global regulatory teams, including General Counsel's Office (Legal), Third Party Lifecycle Management (TLM), Tax, Compliance, Information Security, Outsourcing Governance and Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

·Delivery of contract remediation projects that enable GSM to remain aligned with changing legal and regulatory requirements.

·Support the SSBE team in agreeing contracting strategy and negotiating legal terms within third party contracts.

·Identify, review and understand supplier risks and work with Third Party Risk Management teams, SME’s and business stakeholders to ensure strong supplier governance.

·Carry out general procurement activities across a broad range of categories including producing and managing large volume contract change notices, tracking progress and reporting back to project leaders.

·Ensure policy and contract compliance in all contracting projects.

·Work closely with Source to Contract teams and Category Managers to support contract execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

·Ability to influence others with a collaborative, inclusive and engaging style; with a practical approach to delivering successful, collaborative outcomes to support evolving business needs.

·Some experience working in a Supplier Management, Procurement or Contract Management role would be advantageous, but not essential.

Students must have a graduation date between June - September 2027
