Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern here at Beehive Industries, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our manufacturing and industrial engineering teams. You will work closely with experienced professionals and learn about optimizing manufacturing operations, improving process efficiency, and driving operational excellence. This internship will give you valuable insights into manufacturing and industrial engineering and help you develop essential skills for your future career.
What You'll Do...
- Develop build files and routings and act as the manufacturing engineer for support hardware, rig hardware, and fixtures
- Assist in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste
- Contribute to the development of manufacturing maturation projects
- Gain exposure to various manufacturing technologies and equipment - Participate in data analysis and problem-solving activities
- Author and contribute to the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures

You have...
- At minimum, completed Sophomore year of college or university by the time of the summer internship assignment
- High School/GED
- Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application; cumulative, no rounding
- Must have a valid driver’s license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field
- Must have plans to be enrolled in classes during Fall Semester 2026
- Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2026
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Effective presentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
