Role
Amangiri invites you to embark on a unique cultural and professional journey as a Food and Beverage Intern at our resort in Canyon Point, USA. This internship offers hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, allowing you to learn the fundamentals of high-end service and operations. Under the guidance of experienced leaders, you will gain valuable insight into Aman’s approach to warm, personalised hospitality. Start Date of this internship is Feburary 1, 2026, ending January 31, 2027.
Responsibilities
• Support the Food and Beverage team with delivering food and beverage to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Learn the set-up and breakdown procedures for service areas in line with Aman standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all front and back-of-house areas.
• Develop knowledge of the menu, including allergens and guest preferences.
• Assist with polishing and restocking silverware, glassware, and linens.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Observe and support service timing and the flow of guest interactions.
• Participate in pre-service briefings and daily team meetings.
• Engage in cross-cultural exchange and hospitality best practices.
• Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene procedures during training and service.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Hospitality or Culinary Arts programme.
• Eligible for the J-1 Internship or Trainee Visa for the United States.
• Strong interest in luxury hospitality and guest service.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively in a team.
• Must meet all J-1 visa and programme sponsor requirements.
