Your Role
The MDCC Applications team builds digital applications (website and mobile apps) for the members, brokers, providers, and call center employees. As a Mobile Developer, you will report to the Sr Director of MDCC applications. In this role you will work with an agile delivery team to design, build and deploy enhancements for member mobile applications. You will work in partnership with the business product owner to translate business needs into epics and user stories for the developer to design/build. Along with the developer, you will test the enhancement to the mobile app. Your work will involve the use of automation and AI.

Your Knowledge and Experience
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 1 year of related experience through project, coursework, or internship
- Skills in iOS or Android development
- Skills in writing technical epics and user stories
- Strong collaboration and teamwork
- Strong communication skills required
- Proactive, solution focused mindset with demonstrated creative, problem-solving skills
- Passionate about changing healthcare and challenging the status quo to advance health equity
Pay:
$25.00 per hour for Undergraduate
$30.00 per hour for Graduate

Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Translate business needs/requirements for the member mobile app into technical epics and user stories in Jira
- Partner with the developer to review design for fit with the epics and user stories
- Test enhancement of the member mobile app against the epics and user stories
- Leverage and enhance automation and AI used for your work
