We are seeking aSoftware Development Internto join our Mobile Application team to enhancedriver experience. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and enhancing mobile system functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development, testing and maintenance of the Route Applicationusing MAUI.net (C#)

Collaboratewith the operationsdepartment to translate requirementsintotechnical solutions alignedwithdriver'sneeds and operational workflows

Build proofs of concepts (POCs) for mobile application

Write clean, efficient and scalable code

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing mobile application features

Support the deployment of mobile app updates and ensureperformancereliability

The roleinvolvesdaily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proficient in C#.

Knowledge of additional programming languages, including Java, Python and JavaScript, an asset.

Knowledge of web development frameworks and databases is an asset.

Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving

Strong collaboration and communication skills with an eagerness to learn
